Verify the business and person on each required official register for the exact measure and task. Scheme participation does not replace trade-specific competence.

ECO measures generally use the scheme's TrustMark route, while BUS installations require an MCS-certified installer for the relevant technology and approved consumer-code membership. Gas, electrical, asbestos, refrigerant, structural and other regulated work may require additional credentials.
