Choosing guide
How should you choose radiator reflector panels?
Purpose-made panels have a bounded surface-level use on some external-wall radiators and do not substitute for insulation or repair.

Radiator reflector panels explained
Energy Saving Trust · UK consumer guidance
Supports: Reflector panels are most relevant behind radiators on uninsulated external walls. Heating should be off and radiators cool before fitting in accordance with manufacturer instructions.

Investigation of Moisture and its Effects on Traditional Buildings
Historic England · England technical guidance
Supports: Moisture does not by itself establish damp or damage. Misdiagnosis can waste money and remedial work can make a problem worse.

How to choose
- Check the intended radiator and wall arrangement, temperature suitability, dimensions, edge finish and required clearances.
- Use only a documented fitting method that does not require moving the radiator, opening pipework or drilling unknown fabric.
- Check fire and heat information, surface restrictions and whether the panel would cover controls, vents, cables, valves or signs of leakage.
What it cannot establish
- A panel does not guarantee a bill saving, temperature increase or useful effect on an internal wall.
- Do not fit over a damp or damaged wall or where safe access requires radiator movement, wet-system work or fabric disturbance.
You may not need this product if…
- An existing device or a simple record already answers the decision you need to make.
- You need a one-off professional assessment rather than repeat observations.
- Using the product would move beyond the stated safety boundary.
