How to choose
- Identify the existing valve-body interface and compare it with the manufacturer's exact compatibility and adaptor information.
- Confirm that the task changes only a user-removable dry head and needs no draining, pipework, valve-body movement or fixed wiring.
- For electronic heads, check manual override, battery, connectivity, data handling and behaviour if a service becomes unavailable.
What it cannot establish
- A new head does not diagnose a cold radiator, seized valve body, circulation problem, boiler fault or system imbalance.
- A moving, leaking, damaged or unidentified valve, or any wet-side work, needs competent heating assessment.
